Each pair has inside grip to reduce foot sliding inside the sock, and outside grip for traction on reformers, megaformers, mats, and studio floors. Two layers of silicone, one planted foot.
Inside grip — silicone applied to the interior footbed holds your foot in place, so it stops sliding inside the sock during lunges, planks, and carriage transitions.
Outside grip — a triangle-pattern silicone sole grips the reformer carriage, the Megaformer, the mat, and the studio floor.

Machine wash cold, inside out. Air dry. Skip fabric softener — it degrades silicone grip over time. Grip rated for 380 wash cycles.

Regular grip socks only put silicone on the outside sole, so the foot can still slide around inside the sock. BOLD Dual Grip socks add a second silicone layer inside the footbed, holding the foot to the sock and the sock to the floor.

I love my first pair of BOLD socks. They feel soft and plush but not so thick that they get in the way between me and the reformer. The dual grip is fantastic and I noticed it helped improved my stability during standing exercises on the reformer. Will definitely be coming back for more pairs!
I received my socks just in time for my advanced reformers class last week. The dual grip really does make a difference. I do wish they fit a bit more snuggly. I found that since it’s a o/s sock theres extra room (size 5.5-6 for reference) but the inner grip helped keep my foot in place. The colour combination of the Artemis red is just gorgeous!
